If you are under 24, it is one of the conditions that will make you independent under FAFSA. However, both of your incomes will be taken into consideration. The best advice for more information is to check the links below along with the college's financial aid office since they know the most up to date information regarding financial aid regulations and requirements.

It depends on several things. If you are married, you become independent for financial aid purposes, so that means you don't have to use your parents info for the FAFSA form, instead, you use your household income (your income AND your spouse's). If this income is less than what your parent's made, then of course you will get mroe aid......remember, the amount of aid you get is based on your EFC (expected family contribution). This formula for EFC takes into account the number of ppl in your household, whether you have any dependents (children, etc.), and how much money you make.

Im sorry....he relies upon on his mothers and dads? in my opinion i don't see it good to marry somebody just to income citizenship. yet it is MY OPINION. yet i assume you figuring out to purchase his college is solid fee in terms of you attending to stay in u . s . continuously. Im married to a German (worst mistake ever). i did not desire a grren card or visa to come back, yet because of the fact i had to stay, i mandatory one. to not point out Germany isn't comparable to u . s .. you should pass 3 German language assessments previously they provide you a Visa. back that's MY OPINION.
