With all the fighting, hunger, poverty, and hate in the world, where is god?
adding to this question, why do people base their entire lifes around god? i mean i attend church on sundays, i thank god for the food on my plate, but i have a friend who has a quote from the bible to say to me every time i do something wrong. why do people base thier entire life on someone who they have never seen? and who doesent show themselfs if they do exist?

God is within you, and he may not express through you the same way he expresses through others. Fighting, hunger, poverty, and hate are opportunities given to us to demonstrate that God exists. We balance those bad things with peace, giving, and love. You have two choices: Do something, or be a critic.

The answer is in Heaven, life is a test, God knows which of his creatures will become fooled by Satan, but he also knows the beauty of the human soul when fully activated by God Consciousness and Awareness. Think what you may, but on the Day of Judgment you will know.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

[004:001] O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwâ (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women; and fear Allâh through Whom you demand (your mutual rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allâh is Ever an All-Watcher over you.

Why do you thank god for food you purchased and another person made ready, yet you question god why is there poverty etc?

If he gave us the world we can do anything!

There is someone starving now in a soup kitchen yet none of us are there help but we are here questioning.

God is somwhere between the amygdala and the cerebral cortex, a product of the mind. But don't tell anybody because most people like God better that way. As long as he lives in their imagination, they can mold him into anything they want him to be.

I can answer that one, sort of.Every hear the Bette Midler song,"From a Distance"?Those words answer why God doesn't jump in and change everything. From a distance, things don't look so bad.If there is a God,he couldn't change every little thing, and so can't really change anything. So,he just watches from a distance.

God is everywhere. But God does not interfere with man's freewill. Only when one calls on Him will God help out. There is poverty and hunger and war because of one thing, man kinds greed and the "ME" attitude

Did you ever stop to think that maybe God isn't the problem and that we are? Do you doubt the wind exists when you see it move the leaves in the trees? You cant see it, but it is there. Same thing goes for God. You can't see him, but he changes lives for the better sometimes.

If you happen to run across this missing Deity, let it be known that 6 billion other people are also waiting for answers and help. In the meantime though, lets cut to the chase and get things done ourselves.

The question is why aren't we listening to God . We seem to have tuned OUR CREATOR out . The word GOD is being grossly misused by a lot of people that should know better.

god is within you, and all around you - we all are part of this, including the suffering - that is the nature of being - freedom from this lies within every individual that posseses an "i am" - consciousness is what we truly are, and if you want freedom from the terrible things, then you must search all that it is that you have in you, and at the end of that journey is the answer to, "where is god?"
