A baby dying hours after birth.
A teen killing themselves because nobody listens to them.
A man killing another because if he didn't, he himself would be killed.
A woman getting an abortion because if she didn't, she herself would die along with her to-be-child.

Answers anybody?

The first three deal with death, while the last one could be seen as near-death since the woman could have died, but fortunately she was able to save her life.

I'm sure the people alive will feel some sort of sorrow, which could be a common theme. The parents of the child, if they wanted the child would be sad, even if the baby was left in the dumpster by a young, confused, poor teenager who couldn't get an abortion or go to her parents. The teen most likely had friends or other who cared about him/her, and they will hate themselves for not helping out when they had the chance. The man who killed another in self difference will most likely be scarred since he was not a killer, but he became one. Depending on the woman's situation, she could be overjoyed that she is alive, or she could be sad because she wanted to have a child.

The simple answer would be that they all revolve around death. But I have never been one for simple answers. What I see is that they are all situations where that were beyond the control of the person dying or killing. The baby certainly had no control. the teen certainly believed they had no control. The man had no control over the effrots of the other to kill him, so he did what was necesary to preserve his own life. Likewise the woman. It was either she live or BOTH die. Again the choice was obivous.

These are all manifestations of Wyrd, examples of the inequities in the universe that can either teach us, strengthen us, or destroy us.

They are all deal with disagreeable (Christian) issues.

Some Christians say a baby dying hours after birth will go to Heaven; others say it can't because it didn't live long enough to willingly accept Jesus (or other various arguments).

Some Christians say if someone commits suicide s/he will go to Hell; others say it is forgivable and that person could go to Heaven.

Some Christians say murder is unforgivable and if you kill another person, you will go to Hell; others say (especially under the given circumstances) that murder is forgivable and you can go to Heaven if you repent.

Some Christians say that life begins and conception and undeveloped fetuses are human beings, so abortion is a form of murder; others say that life begins after conception at a particular stage during pregnancy or at birth, so abortion is not murder, and acceptable under some circumstances (especially the one given).

The effects of the doctrines of Evolution, which state, for example, that we humans come from the primordial slime, and therefore aren't worth a pinch of poop. Knowing this, human life isn't sacred and is so easy to take a life.

If your doubt was stronger than the belief of a doctor what would happen? Not many people know cause there faith starts and ends with people, places and things.

All of them, do not have Christ.

A baby dying hours after birth is not Saved, has not been born again
A teen killing themself, does not have Jesus in them, else they would know Peace, Love, Joy, and Happiness despite their condition or situation.
A man killing another because He might be killed, is disobeying a commandment of God thou shalt not kill, He is merely killing another to save his own life, thank God Jesus did not kill all those who were trying to kill Him, this man should have faith in God instead of taking matters into his own hands.
A woman getting an abortion to save her own life is greedy, it is written there is no greater love then one giving his life to save another, where is the love for her child, it is greedy to save your own life at the expence of anothers. And in all my life i have never heard of a situation where the woman should get an abortion because she and the baby is going to die, who says if the baby is going to die or not, Does not God determine who lives and who does not live.

In all of these situations, none of them have Jesus in their lives.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ

Those are all deaths that suck. Or situations that suck, where you need to take extreme action not to be killed.

all of them lead to the death of something, the first and third are acceptable, the forth is acceptable by the vatican standared and the second is just downright pathetic.

DJstab, your answer floored me! Thanks Cliff!

The answer of course is death. But that is all. The circumstances and ramifications are different for each.
