I dont know exactly how to explain this. I have no idea what I've done to cause it.... but when I use my space bar in the middle of typing, like to make a correction or add another word into the middle of a sentence it erases other letters and words. Does anyone know how to fix this? Man it's annoying! It's like as I type something in the words in front of what i'm typing are being erased at the same time???

you have 'overtype' mode turned on, to turn it off, hit the INSERT key on your keyboard.
If you accidentally hit it with the document open, it will turn on.
