I'm having trouble inserting a suppository on my 'recipient' because he keeps clenching his cheeks.

is there any way to get him to stop or loosen up? i already tried to ask him to relax. his (my sons) doctor said he must have a suppository atleast once every 2 days for the next week and a half.

I understand what you're going through. I have a 6 month old baby girl and when she was 3 months I had to give her suppositories every night for 3 days. I had such a hard time and I also felt so bad that my baby was having such a bad time. What we did with my husband was give it to her when she was pretty sleepy so she wouldn't fight it too much.
Please be sure that the suppository is not too hard. They are supposed to be kept in the fridge (or atleast the ones we had)so they won't melt or go bad so please let it stay out of the fridge for a good while before you use them that way it won't hurt them or bother them as much. Good luck to you and please be gentle! :)
