Why do you need a CPA? Do you need accounting work done? What you need is a year around professional tax preparer. Most CPA's do not work year around with personal income tax. Neither do most H & R Block or Jackson Hewitt offices. Only an office that supports it's self 12 months out of every year by working on tax returns will have the most experienced people for the job. Oddly enough, most such offices charge less than any CPA or national franchised tax office by far and still produce enough income to remain open and available to their clients. Most such offices do not spend alot on advertising but rely on word of mouth from satified clients. I suggest that you do a web search for Tax Preparers, check the yellow pages, and most of all: ask around in the area where you work and live. Good luck and don't get overcharge and underserved.

I wouldn't use H&R Block on a bet. Call the state CPA society and ask for referrals. Interview several to see who fits best with you.
