I'm just wondering why the research I've made said that the shuttle cock's feather comes from the left wing of a goose, is it possible to use the feather from the right wing? is there an effect in the trajectory performance of the shuttle cock if the feather comes from the right wing?

The feathers are always taken the L wing for consistency in flight and response. Many feathers are found in mirror image on the wings. These feathers may also have a different surface on the top and bottom. The combination of these factors would make it very difficult to use feathers from the right wing to create a Shuttle **** that matches a standard one. Hope that helps
