"They see the speck of dirt in other peoples' eyes yet they are blind to the dirt covering their whole faces."
That above-mentioned paraphrased quote from the Christian bible perfectly describes the hypocrisy most "Christians" conduct against non-Christians.
Sad but true.
Peace.

In the church, there is always room for one more.
The church is for the believer, by evidence of Paul encouraging Timothy in his pastorship, or anyone else mentioned in the Bible that Paul talked to. These people were not the heathens or the pagans, but church members he communicated with. The vast majority of conversions are outside the church, which is why our Christian walk must be evident, not so much by verbiage, but by our everyday life. When the unbeliever is convinced than the everyday Christian is sincere in his faith, THEN will he venture forth into the sanctuary.

Because of the way they act around other religions. I'm not saying that everyone is like that but they were taught to love everyone and not to judge but I know a lot of Christians who judge me for my religion I even got horrible emails from one girl that thinks she know's it all. Then she lied to my face saying that her cousin sent it but how would he know what I was?? So ya it's mainly because of those few people who actually are hypocrits. Don't get mad when people call you a hypocrit it's just what other Christian's have done for them to make that judgment.

It's not the perfection but the lack of self-awareness in people like Pat Robertson, Ted Haggard, Jerry Falwell, Jimmy Swaggert, and others who preach to others but yet engage in the very things they're preaching against. This is the hypocrisy,

This is because MOST (not all) only see things from their point of view. Most of them can be very narrowminded , and seem as though they are brainwashed. Most of them dont try to understand the perspective of atheists , pagans, satanists , or even buddists, they just try to convert you.The only reasons they use to prove they are right is because "It is written in the bible."or "God said so." This dosent apply to Christians that show tolerance though.

Nobody's perfect, but some people pose as perfect, and others (well, sometimes the same ones) expect YOU to be so, while they're hiding their own imperfections under the carpet.

Probably because they don't always practice what they preach.
I have seen so many rude and inconsiderate ppl who claim to be
christians. I know for a fact that their religion does not teach that.
There are other aspects also. But to me thats what annoys me the
worst.

Here u go. Love thy neighbor as thy self, instead they find ways of condemning because they are different. People think because ur are christian that everything u telll us that ur not suppose to do u do. I know that we're human and we all make mistakes.

I think most non-Christians really do expect Christians to be two things: perfect and expert.
Perfect in behavior.
Expert in knowledge of all things of faith.
And, to fail (or fall short) in either means that we are "hypocrites".
Amusing.

because they are intolerant of people living "immoral" lifestyles, yet all you hear about on the news are ministers that lead a secret gay life, or are addicted to drugs, or womenizers
