I don't. To be fair, though, the media isn't the source of demonization of Islam, it's just the means of propogation. That would come from a variety of different groups, such as the current administrations in any number of nations that are involved in the Iraqi war, historical enemies of Muslims, Islamic hate groups that believe the only good jihad involves killing non-Muslims, and so on and so forth.
Demonization isn't the cause for violence, it's the justification. The cause for violence is control of resources (oil, water, land, money). The Haves don't want to lose what they have and the Have Nots want what the Haves have. Same dance, different tune.

I just saw a show on Discover channel where there were a group of modern muslims who celebrated womanhood and rejected the wearing of veils and all the anti-woman, anti-secular stuff. However, it also showed a very large percentage of conservatives who thought no muslim woman should be a model, that the taliban should be restored, and that women should wear veils. So ... it's not the media but rather the facts that there are 2 different groups and the latter group is willing to take up arms to implement islamic theocracies where human rights are violated.

I don't know, it could be guys like the President of Iran saying the time is close for Israel to vanish off the face of the Earth. He wants to bring the 12th imam or some other such nonsense. He has the potential to at least try and it will be really ugly.
I see Islam in about every big conflict in the world right now. Try and name one it isn't. And you calling people who are astute enough to see it names is not going to change it.
I actually think it is worse than the media portrays it based on reading websites that are written by Islamic groups.

I dont believe the Media, I believe what I see in the Quran and what Muslims do.
Almost all warfar or violent conflicts in the world involve Jihadists demanding their law reign. Should the media not report that? What I hate about the media is how gingerly it deals with Islam, afraid of Islamic represials and unwilling to speak truthfully about Islam.
Theres absolutely no question about it...the media is unwilling to speak honestly about the shear horror of Islam.

I don't. It's funny, I heard an evangelical minister talk about the fact that most muslims are peace loving individuals. But he then went back to the hate exhibited by a few and basically stirred the crowd into a frenzy with the propaganda. It was awful to hear. Truly terrible that someone would spread such hate in the name of so-called patriotism.

It depends on the specific media. Some are realistic. Some are apologist.
I believe that we should pray for muslims as they have been conned into believing in a false god invented by Muhammed.

Hah.
You are confused.
Islam is a very oppressive and inequal religion.
I read my news online from numerous non-US sources. They all confirm the nature of islamic governments and the islamic mentality.

I don't have to pay any attention to what the media says. I know that Islam denies Jesus as Lord. That's all I need to know about it.

Well some people just rely on the media for knowledge instead of investigating and actuallly learning a truth about things on their own, if they did things could be different.
