my husband and i have both worked our whole lives.. my job now doesnt provide med ins and neither does my husbands and the county says we make to much for a medical card but my kids do get one.... anyway i really need to see a dr i have alot of things wrong with me such as a very bad cough from phnemona spelled wrong srry i went to the er and they told me that it was a month ago and i have not been to a gyno in about 3 yrs my husban also has alot of health issues worse then mine such as high blood pressure and stomach alcers and depression that he is suppose to be on meds for but we just cant afford them do you know of any help for us people who want to keep working but cant afford a dr?

Although many communities have clinics that charge on a sliding scale, you seriously need to look for a job that comes with medical benefits. I worked many jobs, but if they didn't have medical then I treated it as a temp job and kept going to interviews until I found ones that did.
Until then, the ER is the most expensive place you can go, just like shopping at Nieman Marcus . . . go to the day clinics instead, then go to job interviews on your day off or after work.
