Everyone in my family wear the brown scapular. It is easily visible. People ask about it and i tell them the story. It used to be given out at the same time as we got our rosay beads when we did our first communion. Every traditional Catholic i know wears it. Good ones are made in California.

Scapulars have not have been given something to do with superstition they're like quite a few different holy image a Sacramental, an outward image of the guy's faith. they're oftentimes worn below outfits in touch with the flesh. the thought that if one dies in His Grace collectively as wearing a scapular they could have merited forgiveness of a few if not all their temporal punishment. that's not a assure that temporal punishment has been forgiven yet extremely a potential that the guy could have merited the certainly Grace needed as a manner to be forgiven their temporal punishment.

I did for a long time, I was amazed I had 1 good habit that stuck! (2 years.)
I don't wear it anymore to prevent people thinking I'm a good person, as the scapular reminded me I am not that good, and after my marriage failed, it felt weird.
It did protect me for a long time, or whatever it is for(?).
I keep it with my rosary and other religious material. Maybe it is still working?
I had found a green one and when it wore away I sewed it to my sturdier brown one.

A Scapular was given to Simon Stock by the Blessed Virgin Mary, back in the 1500's I believe.

It is to protect you from evil and harm, and to be worn in faith, going to church, and saying the rosary.

God bless all.

No idea. Did someone take a poll?
As far as I know, you wear it underneath. Sometimes the string peeks out, but a person who wears it would be dressing modestly, and the string wouldn't show.

Probably their family knows. You interested in being vested?
