You can use body-building/volumizing shampoos, conditioners and styling products to create the illusion of thickness. To actually increase hair density, you would have to increase your estrogen levels, so unless you can take birth control pills, it ain't happening. Even if you could, it's a bad idea to take drugs just to get thicker hair. Vitamin supplements and proper diet can enhance hair growth somewhat, but generally, hair grows at a half inch per month and there's not much you can do to change that.

Some people report that their hair looks and feels thicker after they color it, and that's because the deposited color coats the hair shaft, actually increasing its circumference a bit. But the benefit is counterbalanced by the damage that dyeing your hair can cause, so it's up to you to weigh the pros and cons of this method.

You might want to go easy on the daily straightening. Exposing your hair to heat every day will damage it over time, and the resulting breakage will cause you to actually have less hair.

Eat a lot of protein, but know that you will have to exercise not to gain weight. Take vitamins, especially vitamin E. There are some good hair care products, but due to differing body chemistry they do not work the same for everyone. I like the Regis design line, moisturizing, and Biosilk moisturizing + silk therapy. Mane and Tail makes good shampoo and conditioner, but it stopped working for me. Aussie 3 minute miracle is good if they still make it. Also hot oil conditioners like the ones from V05 help. Try getting your split ends trimmed at least every 2 months. They recommend every month, but generally every 2 is okay. I have grown my hair from about 1/2 inch long to almost down to my buttocks in about 4 years, and my hair grows slow.

You can not make your hair grow faster nor can you make it thicker but Mane & Tail shampoo and conditioner by Straight Arrow are great products. Yes they are for horses too, but people have been using this stuff for years. Your hair will grow become much healthier and you will get the appearance of thicker hair. You can get it almost anywhere, Wal Mart, Target, etc. You can see what it looks like here. http://www.nextag.com/mane-shampoo-tail/search-html

Eat healthy, take vitamins.. Sometimes taking pre-natal vitamins can make your hair grow faster and become more healthy, as well as your finger nails.
