I am sorry for your loss.

The stupid will tell you that he went to hell. Pity them for their ignorance.

Read the parable of the prodigal son.

It is Jesus' way of telling us of the unconditional nature of Gods love for us. Read it carefully because it is always misinterpreted as a story of forgiveness. This is not true because if you read it carefully you will se that the father in the story never judged the sons actions in any way.

He simply rejoiced at the return of the son. This is exactly what happened to your brother. Anyone who tries to tell you differently does not know what they are talking about.

Love and blessings Don

You know, there are so many answers to these questions, and let's face it, nobody really knows,do they? Some say people who commit suicide, do not enter the "Kingdom of Heaven", but who are they anyway? What if heaven and hell were right here on earth, some say it's what we make it. I think the real truth is, that nobody knows for sure, and we will all just have to wait till it's our turn to go, to get that absolute answer. Sorry about your brother. Hope i was some help.

The wages sin pays is death--Rom. 6:23.

Acts 24:15---There is going to be a RESURRECTION of the righteous AND the unrighteous--
My condolences to you and yours in this grievous time.

No, he is NOT going to hell---hell is Hades, the common GRAVE of mankind. Do you believe that a Pure and Good Loving God would do such a thing? Send someone to a forever torture place? Be reasonable AND reassured that your brother has the same chance as an adulterer.
ALL of the commandments, if broken, were punishable by death. There are so many that have no idea what they are talking about.

Suicide is not the "Unpardonable Sin".
The only way a Christian can Lose Their Salvation, is by Commiting the Unpardonable Sin.
I am Sorry for your Loss. May GOD Help you in This Time, in Jesus Name.
Your Brother is in Heaven.
Jesus is Lord.

Oh my dear, I am so sorry. How heartbreaking for you. A Christian's salvation is not negated if they commit suicide. Suicide is not the unforgiveable sin, and don't let anyone tell you different. The bible says there is but one sin that is unforgiveable, blasphemy of the holy spirit, which is the utter rejection of God and His son.

I pray the Lord comfort you and your family.

I am so so sorry. You have my heart.
I am a pastor who has buried suicides and tried to commit suicide numerous times. This what I have learned:
a) Saul and Judas both committed suicide in the Bible. Neither of them are mentioned as condemned by God.
b) Judas' death came from being unable to accept God's forgiveness for himself - evidently for Judas betrayed Jesus but once while Peter denied him thrice.
c) In my own attempts/contemplations, I never doubted God could love me so much as I could not love myself/accept/forgive.
d) Love your brother, accept the lousy thing he did to himself and those who loved him, forgive him for the hurt.
e) Grief work is intensified by a suicide. Find a counselor or pastor to help out if the load becomes to much.
f) It is quite okay to say: "NAME - I will always love you. I am so sorry you carried so much pain. I forgive you and will always remember you."

My brother, a Catholic, also committed suicide (in 2003 Sept.)
I received a phone call from him earlier this year in my dream, a vivid one. He conveyed that he had then transcended to another realm of existence which he felt much better than before. He asked that this message be passed to my mom so that she wouldn't worry about him. Thereafter, I had dreamt about him one more time since then. Similar message.
He spoke to me on my right ear which I held on my phone. I had a few weeks of infection on my right ear.

I'm sorry sweetheart but suicide is the same as murder in God's eyes. The body your brother occupied was not his to dispose of. Your brother being a christian had to of known this. Maybe he made his peace with God, you will find out some day, I promise.

If anyone tells you he's going to hell, IGNORE THEM! I personally believe that if someone is so far down that they feel the need to end their life, God knows they weren't in control of their emotions, and it was that lack of control that caused them to do that. I do not believe God sends people to hell for being emotionally unstable. He knew what your brother was going through, and I don't think God is so cold hearted as to punish someone for that. As to those who believe he's gone to hell...I hope they are judged by that God, because the God I believe in, LOVES His children, far too much to punish them like that, after they've suffered so much in this life.

How terrible to read such a situation happened.
If a Christian tells you that your brother is in hell, then they are doing what Christians are not supposed to do: Judge.
