Of course there is. During the rut the males get stupid and less caring. My brother shot one who was on the trail of a doe. The stupid thing had already been shot twice before but he was still wanting to get it on.

There si no such thing a a stupid deer. A spike is prolly very young most likely 18 months old, and would be entering his first hunting season as an "adult" . As stated earlier deer are not stupid, some are just more educated than others. They learn from experiences,

Where we hunt in the North East we have White tail deer. Bucks are open for the whole season. In order to shoot them, their antlers must be at least 6 inches long. Anything less is illegal and also known as spike horns or button horns. Not sure if this is what you want, I can only assume. Deer are not stupid, they outfox hunters everyday.

I wouldn't say stupid, although they can let their curiosity get the best of them. This last weekend I had two bucks come in one was fairly nice and the other a spike. I had just gotten in my stand and I think they both were just curious, the nice one as soon as he was in view looked right at me blew and was gone. The spike on the other hand would not leave he just kept coming back and looking, so needless to say he is in the cooler now....

Not sure what you mean by stupid deer, but deer come in a wide range of intelligence levels. But during the rut, any male deer can become stupid.

If your stupid enough to get spotted or don't keep the wind the right direction from them it seems they have the upperhand on that one.
