I would say that arriving in Heaven would be like coming home. It is the ultimate reward for all the struggles that we face on Earth. When we reach Heaven, all pain and sorrow will disappear and we will spend our days mingling with Jesus.
For a very graphic description, you can purchase the book called My Dream of Heaven by Rebecca Ruter Springer. I read it a long time ago, it was a very nice book.
I also think it's interesting that when someone dies, people say that they are looking down on us. That's absolute nonsense. If you are in paradise, would you bother looking at Earth?
I do wonder though. The Lord God is up there, Jesus is up there. But other religions (such as some Hindus) also believe. Does that mean that we'll run into Hanuman and Ganesh eating ladoos? I hope so, I love ladoos!

Q: If there is a Heaven, what is it like ?
First off there is a Heaven, and as for what it is like, it will be different for each soul. What is Heaven like? is like asking what is America like ? America with its many states, has many different things about it, mountains are beautiful, valleys are calm, Forests are huge, theres ocean fronts, theres lakes and small ponds.
In Heaven, there is much, to describe all that one can do in Heaven, would require all the books in the world.
Take the greatest pleasure you can think of, here on Earth, multiply that by 100 times a day. Ever wanted something so bad for Christmas as a child, but didn't get it, didn't get it, but one day, there it was in front of you, you know that feeling, you have that feeling continually without ceasing. Have you ever felt such great health, that you felt like you could do anything ? That feeling you feel without ever ceasing. Have you ever felt that you were really loved, that someone really cared for you so much. Well you feel this on you whereever the light touches you, and if you wanted to feel love above measure, just stand in His full light for a second ( a second only being what you are able to bare ).
Whatever it is that you think Heaven is like, its not, its much more then we humans can possibly fathom. even the water in Heaven is of such clarity and sparkle, that to describe it, well there just isn't any Earthly words to describe it, and the taste of this water, is beyond belief, one taste of this water, and you become that water.
i am so homesick, i am ready to go there now, if it be the Lords Will.
In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ

There are many heavens. The lowest one is the least rarified, the most material. Back many many years when Indians roamed the land, it was a Happy Hunting Ground, where because of the work of angels in creating subjective animals (subjective look and feel real, but the life is not there, because animals never lived after death; they are not made that way. Angels an make it appear so and the Indians enjoyed their Happy Hunting
Grounds. The atmospherean worlds, which is what we are discussing, have changed somewhat. . .
Beyond this low heaven are heavens. They are separated.

Heaven is huge, it's basically like earth since it has the same creator. God at his throne, you never seen Love until you see Jesus walk into God and back out in the human form that we can see, feel. There is a copper color fruit there to eat, so you can bare the glory of God at the throne, it gives strength to with stand God's glory.
The colors are brighter since there's no shadows, no death, no brown leaf. some new colors as well. Beautiful colorful flowers everywhere, you can walk on the flowers with out smashing them, they blow through your legs- there's no death. And as you pass the flowers, they turn as if they can see you. many fragrances. Gorgeous Trees, beautiful mountains, you'll see snow-yet not cold, streams, the river of life, crystal clear water. magnificent sky line.
There's animals, horses, dogs, cats, some animals you never seen before.
Many different ways to communicate, our senses are on a whole new level, like a spiritual sense, you feel what the person wants to say, even the plants you can communicate that way. Everything is alive. The music is on a whole new level, to long to explain. All the abortion babies are there learning the oracles of God.
When you arrive, you would notice your wearing either the robe of righteousness or the gown. The robe means, you get to go to the throne of God. The gown is still good, especially because you are in heaven.... this is what the Catholic say is purgatory, better that's it's in heaven. God had compassion on you, he took mercy on you, not to send you to hell, so if you didn't learn it on earth, you'll learn it in heaven, the oracles of God, and in time, you'll be able to go to the throne and see God. Our new bodies would be able to comprehend all the beauty in heaven and withstand God's glory for eternally.

Holy, very, very Holy and Divine, Yahweh God's realm, not human's.
Ever hear of the resurrection? That's for people. They will live here on earth after they are resurrected from the dust and the graves.
The only other holy ones in heaven besides Yahweh God, His Seraphs and Cherubs and His Angels will be the 144,000 anointed chosen ones from earth who make up the Kingdom of God and will rule with Christ over the earth---NO MORE HUMAN GOVERNMENTS FOLKS!!!

Heaven is another dimension so it’s incomprehensible in this dimension. Explaining it would be like attempting to view television on a radio. However one could say that it’s neither better nor worse, just different.
And people who don’t believe in other dimension don’t have much imagination, they’re probably accountants or something similar.

THe streets are paved with gold and God is the source of light. Try reading the new testament(specifically Revelations 21 for a better descripition.)

Humankind has struggled in every age and culture to describe it. Art of every form has sought to depict it.
For me, heaven means I will be able to finally sing (I'm tone deaf) in the presence of the Master Composer who gave stars their twinkle, birds their song, and babies' their squeals.
