Ive all but given up hope on my acne. Im 17 (18 in two months) and my acne is far far worse than the vast majority of teens.

I tried getting acutane, but it wasnt bad enough for that. Ive tried every damn nuetrogena/otc kind of topical, all kinds from my doctor, and proactive. Proactive seemed to help at first, but then it just stopped and after a few months (4-5) I just stopped using it.

Right now my whole face is pretty much covered in it, and it hurts to make facial expressions. Im embarrassed to go out... And its like once it is here, it never goes away. So it keeps accumulating. And its also the puss-filled kinds, its gross =/

Does anyoen have an home remedies for this?

Thanks for whoever can help.

Drink a lot more water.
Don't touch your face unless you wash your hands just before touching it.
Keep your hair out of your face.

I am a lot older than you and I still have acne. Stress seems to flare mine up. I have also tried every cream there is, including Retinal A. And that was nasty stuff. The zits were still there though.

Get into a cleansing routine that is: cleanse, tone and moisturise. Use products from the supermarket that are designed for younger skin, and avoid cleansing milks (they will block your pores). Get cleansing gels. Your skin will be worse for two weeks, then stick it out for another two weeks to see if it does anything. There are a number of cleansers that help with bacteria.
There is a nutrimetics product called "Nutriclear" that seems to calm my skin and give it a normal matte-finish colour (not the usual red).
Overnight, try to find a product with a lot of zinc in it. That helps. If you are in Qld, Australia (or have any friends who are), get a product called "B.O.Z. Cream" from any chemist. That stuff is gold for acne - put it on sparingly whenever, and a thicker coat a night while you sleep. Takes a while to work, but it is brilliant.

Dude-you have got to go see a dermatologist for real! But beyond dermatologists, if you really want to try a home remedy try putting toothpaste on it. (Not the gel kind though, it has to be paste.) Put it on the bumps before bedtime and be sure to wash your face in the morning and at night before you put on the toothpaste. That worked for me once when nothing else would and I had the type of acne in my teenage times that required RETIN-A prescribed by a doctor. And whatever you do-don't pick or squeeze them-that makes the infection worse!

First of all how is your diet...Do you drink alot of water..You should. You can make a paste out of oatmeal and when it cool you put it on your face and leave until it dries then wash it off with warm water and blot dry with a clean towel and just blot it okay. You make oatmeal with water and boil it for a few minutes then you let it cool maybe warm before applying it to your face. Baking soda mixed with water like a paste is also good to use. This is the only remedies that I have at the time. Sorry!Look under alternative remedies for acne skin....

I use to try every product on the market and finally ( in my 20's) found out I have sensitive skin. The more crap I do to it the worse it gets. I stopped using all products only water, cleaned up my diet, drink moslty water and starting taking fish oil vitamins. You might need to heal yourself from within instead of topical. Good Luck it is worth a try

properly, I had zits problems and that i regarded at homestead treatments for it. some I truthfully have stumbled on that look to artwork a sprint are: Honey Toothpaste and Ointment alongside with Neosporen even though, My pimples only saved getting worse so i ultimately went to the dermatologist. He informed me that pimples are strictly hormonal and that the form of foodstuff you eat, how lots you sweat, how oily your face is, what products you're utilizing does not result your pimples. You get pimples from a transformation in hormones alongside with rigidity or only the age you're. At one element i grew to become into utilizing proactiv to repair my zits issue even though it didnt help. He informed me that my proactiv and different homestead treatments wasnt powerful adequate to handle my zits so he prescribed me some prescription ointment. i grew to become into fearful concerning the value yet my coverage coated it and that i in basic terms had to pay like 10 greenbacks which grew to become into wayy greater low value than proactiv and better than any homestead therapy. To suitable all of it off my face is clearing up after only 5 days. I advise you ditch the homestead treatments, confirm your coverage covers it and visit the dermatologist.

try going to a dermatologist to give you a special cleanse and give you some products that might work. Or just put toothpaste on your face every night..it dries up your zits. Or also try oat and honey masks which will work too. Grapes cleanse the face also from some blackheads and dirt.

Sounds like you need a pro. Just any doctor won't do, you need to see a skin specialist. They have some drugs that should knock it out.
If you can, try getting some sun. Sun used to clear me up, but I was never really all that pimply. Just occasionally.

Try looking up dermabrasion; you may need that.

Try using eggs. Take the egg and put it on your face for a few minutes. It's supposed to help.
