Ok, so this all just started today. When I run or jump, or just pound my feet hard, I feel an odd pressure in one of my molars. It has never happened to me before. I've never had a cavity, so I'm not sure if that's what it is. There is no sensitivity to hot nor cold, and no pain to the touch of the tooth, just this really odd/intense pressure when I pound my feet hard or jar my face around. I have had a cold recently, but I'm not sure if it could be related. Please help me!

If it's an upper back tooth, then maxillary sinusitis is a strong possibilty. The floor of the sinus has close communication with the nerves supplying the teeth.
Treat as for sinusitis, and if no relief then see a dentist to check out teeth.

I have that problem because my teeth are in bad shape. My molars hurt when I jump down from somewhere or pound my feet like you said. I did not have that when my teeth were healthy. There may be something going on that you can't see, like a cavity between the teeth. Sometimes those don't hurt at all until they reach a more advanced stage. The next time you're in for a cleaning tell the dentist about it.

Maxillary sinusitis can also cause tooth pain. If you're getting over a cold you may have a mild sinus infection. I had sinusitis when I was 16 and I remember that my back teeth were sensitive in the way you described. It felt like weird pressure. I ended up needing sinus surgery but most infections can easily be cleared up with antibiotics.

Sensitive gums, or a cavity. I would try to check you flossing routine for a few days and brush more often if you don't brush at least twice a day. If you floss (good) enough to make you gums sore and use some desensitizing toothpaste for a week and that doesn't help I would see a dentist for x-rays. I have really weird gums and if I don't take care of my teeth it feels like I have a cavity sometimes.

O.k. I'm just gonna throw this out there and you take it for what you think it's worth. I had pain in my jaw that i was sure was a bad tooth. went to the dentist and he found nothing. next thing i knew i was in the hospital having a stress test and the found a plugged artery in my heart. Had to do the stint thing. All i had for a warning was jaw pain when i overexerted. Sure hope this isn't your problem.

I get those every so often. When I was younger, I didn't have any problems but I've developed a major sensitivity to cold. The dentist told me it was just my nerves being senstiive.

Sounds like a question for a professional, but maybe an abscess?
