Are you in touch with Easter Seals? I have helped family friends with a son, now in his 20's with similar conditions, and Easter Seals have been spectacular for many years--home visits, therapy, assessments etc. If you haven't done so already, I recommend that you check with them. I'm giving you a link below--but I recommend that you *not* just rely on filling out the contact information. Instead, key in your zip code at the top of the page in the part that says "Find Easter Seals Near You" and contact them personally. In the event you are not in the U.S.A., I'd still recommend that you try to talk to them for advice and information.
Good luck and blessings to you and this special child!

I would think the docs who specialize in cp would be able to recommend physio therapy or other type of exercises to help here. It's best to consult with experts and the CP Society about things like this.

Did the child undergo physical therapy when he was young? If you havent seen a Physiatrist, the doctor of the Rehabilitation Department, I suggest you see one. He or she will evaluate your child & order physical therapy. The physical therapist will help your child!

it depends on the degree of the spasticity & the CP.
SOME DRUGS MAY DECREASE THE SPASTICITY.
You better consult a poediatric neurologist.
May GOD bless you & the child.
