A cat's hearing is about 3 times more sensitive than ours especially in the higher decibels. So things that merely sound loud to us, sound like explosions to them. Your cat is probably disturbed by the sound of your husband's sneezing because it literally hurts his/her ears!

cats are normally attracted or irritated by high pitch noises. if the sneeze has a female sound this could be the cause of it.
I can sit around and whistle softly but very high pitched and both of my cats spin in circles meowing trying to figure it out.

Your cat may find the sound of your husband sneezing to be unpleasant. Cats seem to be hyper-sensitive to sound and it seems to me that he might just be telling you that the sound is not his favorite!

Midge she may think your husband is in distress and shes trying to help him animals that are intuned to there owners do things like that

Captain Worf does that to my husband too - the ony thing I can figure is it hurts their ears.

well my cat meows weird a lot 2 and i read that its because they want attention trust me when my cat does that i just pet or call her name and then she quits!! try it

she may not like the sound of your husband sneeze or she may think that it is another animal.

It might be it's way of laughing or she things that he is another animal making a noise
