same problem almost everyday..

my eyes are soo heavy i feel i need toothpicks to make it open .. and its like 10.00 in the morning now and i have to drag all day .. i need a clear mind coz my work involve heavy thinking and calculation. and i cant concentrate.. i just dozed off at my werk station and i'm sitting where everyone wil have to pass my workstation.. arghhh

now drinking coffee of energy drinks actually makes me even sleepy..

what can i do to stay awake..

i wish i could leave but nahh $$wise is ok ..
further more if i leave i wont be getting my gratuity payment .. just need to bear for another 12 mths.. :d

did you try sleeping at least 8 hours each night? if you still find yourself falling asleep when you have enough sleep, then you should find out some good reasons about your job... 1) you get paid 2)perhaps you like your job? and list these things out. and print out this list in big red letters and tape it on your desk. each morning think about what you can accomplish rather than how slow the hours will drag. there must be a reason why you are sitting behind that desk. there's a reason why you pick that job out of thousands out there... think positive and maybe if you put a jar of snack, that keeps you awake. try chewing gum, too. good luck and wake up!

..... hand your notice in and leave next week, corz your mum has to go into hospital with a heart condition,.. treat yourself to a massage from a guy at a massage parlour, take a 2 week break so you can have a lot of late snooze's, then hunt around for a new job, and only stay there permanently, if it's one that yuh really like..... If it's not, keep on trying different company's, until you find yourself one that is!...

You need to get your body accustomed to your work routine. Make sure you go to bed at an hour that ensures you'll get at least 7 to 8 hours of rest. Have a cup of tea in the mornings if you need it. Tea actually contains stronger caffiene than coffee and is better for your digestion than coffee is.

Go to bed early. Then when u wake up in the morning, take a short stretching exercise even for 5 minutes.

One suggestion may be to get to bed earlier night before and see if this helps you stay awake any better. A little secret that I'll share with you that helps me is I sometimes sneak in a game of TextTwist just to kind of rejuvenate my mind. If necessary you may need to go and see your doctor and see if there is something physically/emotionally occurring that is causing this drowsiness with you at work. only party on Saturday and Sunday nights. During the week get to bed early. Listen to some jamming music at your desk and take a walk every hour or so to get your blood flowing. Lots of caffeine!

The coffee and energy drinks I was doinjg that .....drinking it by the gallons all day long. I learned that 1 gallon of coffee produces 3 galloons of peee. Not worth it.

whenever you sense sleepy, take a stroll to the washroom and wash your face. The actual activity enables save you wakeful. It won't help in case you sit down constantly for an prolonged time.
