I can attest to that but can see it more in the light of a futile gesture against obvious fact. Yes, certainly there are numerous malicious types false - reporting. But, you're missing the real thing. The questions and answers were valid. Not provocative. If these persons felt provoked it's because the facts decimated whatever drivel they were trying to put across. Incidentally, thank you for your much needed input.

I get reported quite often because I can be a bit harsh in "telling it like it is."
Note, I don't threaten or use profanity, but I'll call an idiot an idiot. I once got reported for calling someone an idiot because they were telling people to spray the toxic, industrial lubricant WD-40 on their joints to ease arthritis pain. Go figure.
What amazes me most is that 1/4 of my answers are Best Answers, so obviously I make some valid points. I guess some people just don't like being told the truth.

I've been getting a lot of them. A lot of "chatting" and "not a question or an answer" when I was NOT chatting and I WAS asking or answering a question.
Grrr.
I didn't care at first, but I'm beginning to get a little miffed.

Actually, I HAVE! I've been reported twice for "chatting and personal communications" when all I was doing was asking real questions like, "This wierd thing happened right after I prayed. Do you think God heard me?" or "Do you think Jim Henson is in Heaven?" Utter hogwash! I wish I knew who was reporting me so I could punch his/her lights out! <---not to be taken literally

I haven't experience this, but did receive an inappropriate e-mail from a member that called me an "asshole" I guess he didn't like my opinion. I look at it this way: F them if they can't take a joke. In other words every opinion is right because it's just an opinion. Have a nice day anyway.

I had answers deleted for not being an answer or a question.
But for most, it's been on questions not relevant to forum, or one way or the other, should not have been posted anyway.
I kinda think it's someone that doesn't like my questions and they simply turn in an abuse claim

The thumbs downs are just idiots who
1) Mark all correct answers as thumbs down
2) Mark all answers but their own as thumbs down
3) Are randomly giving the thumbs down
4) Are stalking one person
As for the reporting, again, some people have no life and think it's funny to report perfectly good questions/answers.
It's a shame Yahoo are too idle to check these reports and weed out the malicious stuff.
They really do need to set up a group of trusted users and give them authority to police the forums if they can't do it themselves
