What I mean is, if they go a long time without doing that stuff, but then when they start to lose weight the right way, do they sometimes have mental problems like gagging after eating or drinking...without even meaning to or trying? Curious if anyone has heard of such a weird, obviously psychologically caused, thing.

And answer as if it's just a question, doesn't have to be about me.

It's possible. They have done long term studies and found out that they can fully recover it just takes time. Quite a few people who posted stories on my support group site are now back to normal.

Yes it is defanatly possible for them to recover eventally, most of the time anorexics or bulimics sometime can recover and they gain over the weight they were before they had the eating disorder ,or in that case throwing up disorder,lol

sometimes they don't ,the gag reflex can stay around uncontrolled for a long time.

depends on the person. some recover and some don't.
