God is a Being. God is a God who has a personality and He is a God Who we can have a relationship with. God is a Spirit and He is everywhere present, all knowing, all powerful, and eternal. He has always existed and always will exist. He created everything. God is one God who is revealed in three Persons. The Father is fully God, The Son is fully God, and the Holy Spirit is fully God, but there is one God. God is Tri-une. God is the God who gave us the Holy Bible and Who created the universe, the angels, humans, animals, etc.... For more information go to www.equip.org

Who really are you, God?
The way that humans view God is influenced by their culture, by the religion of their parents, and possibly by their own choice. Some people use a name for the Deity; others simply call him God. Does it really matter? Is there just one true God who reveals himself and his name to us?
Who, though, is God? Mankind is divided on this question. When asked who God is, a Japanese teenager named Yoshi replied: “I am not sure. I am a Buddhist, and it has not been important for me to know who God is.” Yoshi, though, admitted that Buddha himself is deified by many. Nick, a businessman in his 60’s, believes in God and thinks of him as an all-powerful force. When asked to explain what he knows about God, Nick replied after a long pause: “That is a very difficult question, my friend. All I can say is that God is there. He exists.”
Some people “worship and serve what God has created instead of the Creator himself.” Many churches of Christendom teach that God is a Trinity, consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
“there are many ‘gods’ and many ‘lords,’” states the Bible. However, it adds: “There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are.” (1 Corinthians 8:5, 6) Yes, there is only one true God. But who is he? What is he like? It is important for us to know the answers to these questions. Jesus himself said in prayer to this One: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3) There is reason to believe that our eternal welfare depends on knowing the truth about God.
The fact of the existence of God is proved by the order, power, and complexity of creation, macroscopic and microscopic, and through his dealings with his people throughout history. In looking into what might be called the Book of Divine Creation, scientists learn much. One can learn from a book only if intelligent thought and preparation have been put into the book by its author.
The true God, the Creator of the glorious heavenly bodies, has glory and brilliance beyond the ability of fleshly sight to endure, for “no man may see [God] and yet live.” (Ex 33:20) Only the angels, spirit creatures, have vision that can behold his face in a literal sense. Nevertheless, he does not expose men to such an experience. In loving-kindness he enables men to see his fine qualities through his Word, including the revelation of himself by means of his Son, Christ Jesus.

God is that which no man can comprehend.
We know that there's a living creator just by looking at the sun but the true nature of God cannot be defined.
We have very good reasons to believe in a creator but belief in his nature is a matter of faith.

no one on this globe came up with a detailed picture of god,some are close,god is there to be found and we can only define god from what we see,touch,smell,hear and taste from this reality.We are the ultimate entity and similar in the universes,if i fabricated a car i would like to drive it no?same for god,god is everything and his ultimate self is the human entity,we share this entity with god,there is no fictional entities,angels,demons,hell,heaven,Santa.It is all real and god is real,the only way for god to experience this universe is to be the human entity.Miracles happen with logical,common sense and real happenings.The real GOD is sharing this body with you.You will not find a better REAL definition of GOD,and that is the truth.

Well, this is a toughy, and honestly I dont think you can answer it without asking another question.
Common Christian Textbook definition is, " God is an Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and a being that is all good."
But if you define each and everyone of these things, then it does NOT make sense. First off lets define these words.
Omnipotent means to be ALL powerful.
Omnipresent means to be Everywhere ALL at the same time.
Omniscient mean ALL knowing.
And of course ALL good is sellf explanitory.
Now, lets assume that as Human Beings we are given the universal right of free- will. (Which is common in pretty much all religions that believe in a good, and an evil.)
If, as Human Beings we do have this right of "free will" then how is God Omniscient? If God is "All Knowing" then we cannot possibly have free will. IF we did, then God could NOT be Omniscient. If God is Omnipotent, then we would NOT have free-will due to the fact that then he would be somewhat limited in his actions. Also, Since God is "all knowing" he cannot be all good. Since in order to make evil, or "bad" he has to know it, in order to create it.
In order for us to be "war-like" or angry, or jealous, God MUST be all of the above. Since he created us, he could not of possibly given us those emotions without knowing, or experiencing them. To further prove my point, an artist cannot paint a painting, unless he knows what he wants to paint!
So, God can neither be ALL good, or ALL bad. He is neither, perhaps even indifferent, or dare I say neutral?
No, Im not disproving the Existence of God, what I am trying to point to is the fact that perhaps our definitions, or maybe OUR logic is skewed due to the fact that God is, and always will be Incomprehensible.
In Merkabah work it is said that the one who will be granted the gift of gazing at the face of God will be driven Mad. Which to some extent I feel is true. God is something that we may never ever be able to prove, disprove, label, categorize, or in any way put into HUMAN terms due to the fact that our "Language" is Handicapped by our experience.
God, is an inextricable part of our body, mind, and soul. He is something deeply ingrained into our psyches, and as a result is something deeply hidden from us. If we were not ready to experience him than we could not, and our minds shelter us from this Life Changing Occurence. The Story of the Merkabah is true, in the sense that if we were not ready to experience him in all his vastness, and truelly "comprehend" him as a force then we would be driven Mad.
Since it (God) is in us, do NOT attempt explain/define it (God) in terms of experience, but EXISTENCE!!! Which is hard to do, since we really do not base our vocabulary on existence.
Another important thing is to take into account the psychology involved. Again, to reitirate, if we are NOT ready our minds will shelter us from hurting ourselves. Take for example victims of traumatic events, most of the times their minds will deliberitly erase what happened and it will show up as amnesia of the events.
If we find out something we should not know, alot of things come to a halt in our life, and that will force us to rethink everything we are/were taught.
Remember when Moses saw the burning Bush, and He asked the Bush, "Who are You?" To which the Bush replied, " I AM THE I AM". (Funny thing is, If I were to encounter a burning bush, I would not of asked the Bush who it was, but what it was. Wouldnt that of saved so many headaches?) So anyway, the bush answered, " I AM THE I AM". Could it not be considered that the only God in the world is Man?
Lets Play around with the definition of "what" God "is".
I think its safe to say, at least in my opinion that God IS "whatever you are willing to die for. "
And for some people (namely the middle east) it is a "God-Like" being in the heavens, but for most people it is in fact themselves, or even better, green pieces of paper that we as humans horde.
Sure, it is novel to admit that you would be willing to die for some "force" or "being" in this universe, but c'mon would you really be willing to die for something you've never met, felt, seen, or verified to be true, or better yet not a drug induced, or heat induced hallucination? Even if you don't admit it out loud, I'm sure you are in the back of your head.
Maybe God IS real. Maybe it is NOT. I know I AM, and I know that I AM THE I AM.
Now, this is NOT my complete Opinion. But it is a small part of it.
But to give you a general overview, read on, if not don't.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe we ourselves are gods. But really we are all part of the one God. Just like a Diamond has many facets, we are all faces of the same coin.
To flesh it out, imagine something exploding. Hundreds of little pieces are scattered, but the main piece is still there. WE are the little pieces. If you take a piece of wood and chop it up, its still wood.
Just as the bible says, we are made in God's image.
