I'll take a stab at your vague question, since I've looked at your 360 profile.

You are anti-war in Iraq, as an Englishman.

So instead of asking one question about how we feel about the war, you have taken us on a rabbit trail.

I guess the choice to be collateral damage falls on the person who decides to be collateral damage. The Iraqi people need to end their civil war if they want us out.

Because you weren't meant to die or be targeted. The fact that you did die, means you suffered from poor targeting and being an innocent bystander....thus a collateral damage....sorry about that. It's a euphamism for poor targeting. Be thankful we're in an era of smart bombs, otherwise the carpet bombing would've been a major example of collateral damage.

dont totally see a question in here BUT to reply to Ruth, could I PLEASE point out NOT all the English are anti this war or any war to be honest, rather hard to be against something that husband, brother and son are in or on their way to.........

And also to sort answer you maybe as an English man he is sick to death of the Brits being shot at under the guise of friendly fire and then when this is questioned being told that all deaths are taken into account and some of them are classed as collateral damage..............
