one one hand she does stuff like go out of her way to im with me, she's always happy to see me, sometimes touches me in the hallway to get my attention. on the other hand, i give her chances to do stuff with me and she doesn't take them, like go running or something (she's a runner), and other times i can barely get a word out of her. its like she's a different person every day. what do you guys think?

Key Thing...( Never ask a girl to work out with you) it shows you just want to be friends and nothing more...i know i know it sounds like a good idea and sounds original...but to the girl it shows that you just want to be close but nothing more...think about it there is nothing you can do at the gym(if you lift heavy weights you look like a tool....if you complement her she thinks you are just trying to get in her pants)...you need to give her options of date ideas that aren't date ideas...such as studying some time....getting a coffee...small things that friends would do but also gf/bf would do. Take it slow don't over think it and show her you like her without being creepy.

maybe you are exaggerating her feelings - she doesn't "go out of her way to im you" and she truly accidentally touches you. on the other hand, she might not have the time to go running with u and gets shy when a boy she likes talks to her in person. im her online and you'll be sure to get a much better conversation. tons of girls get very shy when boys they like talk to them in person. good luck! i think she definitely likes you but has a different sort of way of expressing it.

ask her on a date. but do it on a monday for friday. give her a few days to figure where she is... she is still in the testing phaze and doesn't quite know where she stands. if she says yes.. be cool about it... if she says no... be even cooler... then, most likely, she will like you all the more.
