Give him the sweetest smile you can muster, look him straight in the eye and tell him good morning. It's a little bit of flirting without putting yourself out there too much. I think it's a personal decision as to whether or not he only likes girls into goth so you'll just have to wait and see. I was one of the "church girls" and had thing for a "bad guy" in school. I tried the flirting bit I just told you about and 2 weeks later got asked to Junior prom by him! I was 10th grade at the time. WOO HOO!

Here, let me explain something:
Goth is more a lifestyle or outlook on life than anything. They tend to accept that there are bad things as well as good things in life, rather than 'sweep them under the rug', to say, and pretend they don't exist. They can dress however they want, although many prefer darker colors and more dramatic clothes and makeup, and listen to lots of songs and varied genres of music, which can include but are by no means limited to, new wave, darkwave, ethereal, Celtic, goth rock, punk, postpunk, chants, heavy metal, industrial, Latin, et cetera. Not all are interested in vampires - in fact, relatively few are. Many if not most have good relationships with their parents. Very few have mental or psychological problems. Most are actually quite nice, if a bit saturnine. Very, very, very few are 'satanists' or 'devil worsippers'. Most of the young teenagers who listen to Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Drowning Pool, et cetera and wear heavy thick makeup and studded spike collars and bracelets are called 'Mall goths', shop mostly at Hot Topic, and - this is important - they're not real goths. They just seem to think they are. They act disturbed and surly and try to impress/intimidate people. It seldom works, as most are obviously pathetic, and almost all will (thankfully) grow out of it. If you'd like a comprehensive explanation, try visiting goth.net. Some songs that goths might listen to:
Dragonfly (Conjure one mix) - Cruxshadows
Dazzle - Siouxsie and the Banshees
The Passion of Lovers - Bauhaus
Lucretia My Reflection - Sisters Of Mercy
Lullaby - The Cure
She's Lost Control - Joy Division
In Our Angelhood - The Cocteau Twins
Funeral Night - Bella Morte
Deliverance - The Mission UK
Cemetary Gates - The Smiths
Are 'Friends' Electric? - Tubeway Army
Love Is Stronger than Death - The The
Nowhere Girl - B-Movie
Twilight Of The Mortal - Killing Joke
Seconds - The Human League
Indigo Eyes - Peter Murphy
Right Now - The Creatures
Walk on the Moon - Daniel Ash
No Big Deal - Love and Rockets
Fire Woman - The Cult
In summary:
Don't try to be goth to snag a goth guy. He'll see right through it and be disgusted. Be yourself and if it's meant to be, it'll happen.

If there is to be a match, then it will just HAPPEN. You need to be first true to yourself, and guys who are a match for you will single you out as a girl to know better.
Attractions come and go, and they are surface (or superficial), just don't' get so caught up on the outside looks of a guy. What matters is what is going on in his head. He can be a cutie on the outside, but be a bear on the inside (and make you miserable).
When I was your age, I kept a diary. Many years after high school, I decided to read it again and I was surprised to find how many notes I made of some "cute" guy I had noticed that day. I must have had a new crush every week. I thought that was so funny, since I didn't remember being so boy crazy at the time, but apparently I was.
He may decide to not be goth in 6 months from now. If you decked yourself out in goth, what of in 6 months, he would find you as "out" of his circle of interest? That is why he needs to know your inside person. A smile, a hello, a wink, or in the "olden times" dropping something in front of him, and see if he responds like a gentleman and attempts to pick it back up for you, or if he makes a snide remark, laughs, or is a jerk.
Study his character. See if he's just like you inside.
Good luck!

it is okay to do a little research about goth...yu know habits, fasion and cututre-wise. if you have a friend thats goth you might wanna ask him...this way you can learn fave hang outs, the trademark songs(every genre has one) if you want the goth guy to notice you please don't turn goth. he should like you for what you are and appreciate your taste and RESPECT it not hate on it. try hanging out at his hangouts (without waiting for him to say hi, the moment will come don't rush it) try making friends with his friends (it works for me but don't overdo it by asking questions about him) if you are not introduced just keep on hanging out at his hangout and make sure you are having fun. after being there frequently, somebody most probably introduce you. if nobody introduces you and you have been there often, it is okay to wait for his reaction in the hall to see if he recongnizes you. if he does look your way, give him a warm smile. muster up courage and say "hey, you hang out at **** right?"...this thing works but woth patience. good luck.

I love the goth chick look and I'm not goth. I don't know if I'd really like someone who is actually "gothic-like" in their real behavior. They're kinda scary and spooky but in a sexy way. Let me know what you find out.

Not going to work. I'm not being an ***, I'm telling the truth. If you only see him in the hall and he belongs to a different grade and social group its going to be to strenious on the relationship. Believe me I have had romantic relationships with girls of different social groups and unless you have some even turf it is not going to work. Do you even know his name?

Honey, don't waste your youth on 1 boy.
Go get acquainted with
many boys and girls.
I'm not talking about having sex with them.
Just be friends, have fun and when you are grown, say 20 to 25, then look for someone steady to go with and possible marriage.
