Is there still a WebTV, are there still e-appliances(basic internet machines, right?), what are your e/opinions on these two?

The original Webtv (re-branded MSNTV) has been discontinued. Customers can continue to use Webtv but new boxes are no longer manufactured.

Microsoft has replaced it with MSNTV2. MSNTV2 is a very different box designed primarily for broadband and a home network.

I enjoy the speed of MSNTV2 on broadband but miss many of the features in the original box.

I think its better if you just get a computer. I used to have webtv and the only good thing I got out of it was that I learned HTML on it.
