God has label the thousands of Fallen Arch Angels into one clump and calls them as one, the devil, but there are so many so I don't believe in the devil. How do you know they are not doing open battle when all you have to do is watch the news.

They are getting ready to do battle over Israel. And the blood wasted in that battle will be enough to replace Lake Michigan because of the followers that the devil will bring with him. However before that time - - - look for a third temple to be rebuilt in jerusalem.
Look for people shouting "peace and security" in the middle east, as if some peace agreement was confirmed.
Look for the heart of man to grow cold, and for people to start losing their faith in God.
Look for people to be turning one against another.
Look for persecution of christians in a large scale.
Look for widespead antisemitism (hatred of jews).
The greatest test is about to come

The time is soon coming when they will battle in the open for all to see. But there is an ongoing spiritual battle all around us. Every choice made is a fight between God and Satan, only we decide who wins. Satan may win a battle, but he'll never win the war!!

There already was an open battle when Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights.
satan tempted Jesus by saying he would give up his kingdom only if Jesus would worship satan.
Jesus refused all that nonsense.

Armageddon is open battle you are looking for.
Jesus will return to Earth and fight the great battle of Armageddon, on the hill (Har) called Megiddo (Har Megiddo is the origin of the word Armageddon).
The whole battle is layed out in Revelations.

They will. It is called the battle of Armaggedon, but it will be over rather quickly, as Jesus will destroy satan, and his armies, merely with the sword of His word.

Satan and his demons was cast down to earth, and bound here.
They are here in great anger for they know they have but a short time to live.
Rev 12:7-9 Then a war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels fought back.
But it was not strong enough, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
The huge dragon was thrown down. That ancient serpent, called devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, was thrown down to the earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.
