The word is Patronise, my dear one, and I take it you don't own a dictionary. The word means : 1) to give material support or encouragement; 2) to be a regular customer at a shop or store; and 3) to treat someone in an offensively superior way or condescending manner. I would actually suggest you do get a good dictionary and a thesaurus. You can get a good but cheap one at a thrift store. Good luck.
