I have a mini poodle, and i he has bad breathe. The poodle is kinda known for having bad breathe and teeth. I don't know how old your poodle is but if he eats soft food try to slowly switch to dry, or at least one meal a day dry. they need something that is cleaning their teeth as they eat. If you can afford it they have special dog food at the vets, I use Hill's t/d, special dental food. My dog loves it, he has had half his teeth pulled and he will still eat these really extra crunchy pieces. He has dental cleanings every year, and it does really help. If i'd had him when he was a puppy i would have started with better food. That's one of the biggest thing you can do. Good Luck!!

When was the last time your boy had a full blood panel and vet check? I would make the appt now, as there can be some serious issues causing bad breath, and some less serious as well. Anything from renal failure, to rotten teeth, gum disease/infection, to poor diet. After visiting with your vet, you will be able to make the best call for your pup. Diet can easily be improved, and antibiotics can clear up an infection. You won't know until you go, and the sooner you pinpoint the cause the best chance you have of treating is successfully!

Breath Busters help. You can also buy dog toothpaste at the pet store. For my dog, I actually got his teeth cleaned at the vet last year, because his breath was so bad. You may really need to do that. Your dog may run about between $150-200. It's worth it when your dog stinks you out. Just be sure that once you do it, keep brushing his teeth at least twice a week.

Start with a visit to the vet for a good teeth cleaning. That way they can check for any other problems. After his teeth are clean, keep them that way by brushing them at least once a week with a dog toothbrush and dog toothpaste. You can get these at any pet supply store.

They say those greenies are good for dogs breath and their teeth. I would also suggest having her teeth cleaned at the vets. And from there you can brush her teeth occasionally to help relieve the problem

The best product is that wash that you mix into their food and then just watch the improvment. Also you can buy special doggy treats that say they will clean their teeth and breath. SO good luck.
