Intelligent.. however, nobody wants too hear someone talk endlessly about things they don't understand, or dont care about. Allow the conversation to go both ways, change the subject if needed, and dont talk for hours about your job.

Depends on if you are trying to show off or not. I'd try to at least have a conversation, don't worry about being intelligent too much. Try saying the wrong things once in a while, just for fun...

i think that sometimes people might be intimidated by you if you are smart, but i would think that most people find it interesting. you know so much stuff and can offer topics to talk about. one time this girl told me that she was intimidated of me and she like hated me, now we're like best friends. if someone is intimidated, they are just jealous or dont feel comfortable around someone who makes them feel small or stupid. they will realize that it is nothing, smart people are the same as not as smart people. i find it interesting if guys are smart, it makes me like them more actually because i can actually carry on a conversation with them.

Depends on who your dating and how you present your intelligence. Some intellects "show off" their knowledge thats just tacky. Remember not all interesting conversation is intelligent and not intelligent conversation is interesting.

It's been said, "you'll only find true love within 10 points of your own IQ." Be yourself. If the other person is an idiot, you should probably not bother. If they're smart about different things, then steer the conversation towards broader topics.

It can be intimidating if your snooty with it. I think youwould be able to hold a very interesting conversation if you choose one very intelligent conversation to hold one date at a time.

..... the higher your'e level of intelligence, the better, because putting a new date at ease, making her feel comfortable, and giving her an enjoyable night out, is both important and fun, but cant be done, unless yuh know what your'e doing!...

Just be who you are. Otherwise some time down the road a guy can get real upset that you arn't the person that you presented yourself to be.

Dear Fuzzbutt - it depends on who you are with - for me it's interesting....if your date is not quite up to your intelligence...she may be bored.....walk gingerly until you get to know how she thinks

being smart is good but u dont want to act so smart that you make the other person feel stupid
