If you only had these two choices as a snack:

A. a healthy food high in calories (i.e. a bowl of pasta, or a 300cal soup)

B. An unhealthy snack, low in calories- i.e. one 50 cal cookie.

Which is better to eat?

A healthy food high in GOOD FATS, like salmon or avocado. I'm serious they are so good for you... and you need good fats in your diets to help you lose weight and maintain the weight you already have.

But for the choices you mentioned, I'd choose a bowl of good soup, like vegetable, because even though it's got more calories it's also got more nutrients and not as much bad ingredients as the cookie (trans fat, sugars, etc).

Neither really. Especially if you're talking about a snack. What you need is something less then 200 calories and nutritionally good for you, ideally fruit.
*One reason both of those are bad choices is that they are high in carbs which will not satisfy you for very long. It is better to choose something with lower refined carbs, more fiber (such as blueberries), and less then 7g fat.
I would even suggest a meal replacement bar that's 230 cals or less.

The healthy food with the calories, but if you get whole grain pasta, it is really good for you. If you just put canned stewed tomatoes on the pasta, the tomatoes won't add to the calories like butter/margarine would.

Yea, you'll be able to devour celery and carrot sticks or possibly a non too candy fruit. Of all of the matters that you just stated, I could've modified the Frosted Mini wheats, simply when you consider that they've additional non wanted sugar... You will have to frequently upload a few veggies on your vitamin additionally, culmination are well however additionally they have fructose, that's a typical sugar but it surely nonetheless is a carbohydrate.
