There are two types of "toxins", endotoxns that are released inside the cell directly by the bacteria, or exotxins released in the blood stream. Exotoxins are usually much more dangerous. An example of bacteria that secretes Exotxins is "Colistridium Welchii", causing gangrene. An example of bacteria secreting endotoxins is "Colistriduim Tuberculum", causing tuberculosis.
