I need something simple enough for 2 year olds to do. our next unit deals with indians and teepees......any ideas????

The headband idea is wonderful, but just too spruce it up, get Large brown paper bags from grocery store, cut them up the middle,a place for arms on the sides, and a place for their head, Then paint them Brown too look like indian vests, also you could paint half black and make pilgrim hats and then they could wear them to your feast.
Also let them decorate a place mat....
hand prints can easily look like turkey, and then laminate them for their dinner.

Let them make an indian head band with a feather on the side.
trace hands to make it look like turkeys
have them make tee pee's with toothpick or popsicle sticks on paper (or not)

Trace their hands on paper to make it look like a turkey. I'm not sure about the scissors for cutting them out, but its still fun.

cut out a strip of construction paper to fit their head, glue feathers on them for indian head pieces

have them make little teepees.. ones they can make out of clay or something.. dont grade them hard..

well you could finger paint, have them dip thier hands in paint nad make turkeys

have them make place mats using cornacopia. let them chose fruits they want to use and they will color and paste on their mats
