there's nothing like a cuppa, anything upsetting happens in my family,a cup of tea eases it.move house, kettle gets packed last in the removal van,so that its first thing out.get a bill, need a cuppa before i open it,sound like the royale family(with ricky tomlinson)dont i? but cant start the day without a good old cup of tea to get me going.

You are so right. My son called me long distance one night all in a fit about his life. He was so upset he could barely talk, so I told him to put the kettle on and sit and have a cup of tea, then call me back. We used to do that when he lived at home, so it was a ritual with us. He did just that, and when he called me back he was calmer. Its the best. Green tea really helps when you feel tired and need a boost. We drink it at work for that reason.

So very true. I actually just made a cup!

There's something very soothing about tea. Even though they say it has more caffeine than coffee it's more relaxing.

Nothing better than sitting in your favorite chair reading a good book and drinking a cup of tea. That's my kind of night!

Mmmm

I actually like the Arizon Diet Green Tea with Ginsing.

It's not hot tea, but it's still tea.

I am not british, and I'm very new to the hot tea world, but YES. I'm brewing in my coffee maker & yes, very calming. I'm so addicted, I have everything ready so I can just flick a switch. I get very excited when I think oo, its tea time.

There is no nation more tea loving than the Irish. Its all we do day and night. Most people have a pot always hot on the hob. One cup after another! I dont know how I sleep at night!

Yep, I totally agree. Utter carnage could be going on, but if there's tea in the teapot and chocolate digestives in the fridge...

Yep. Gotta give it up for the humble tea leaf!

Green tea,
Earl Grey,
Clipper organic tea is lovely.

Not so good for just before bed, though.

(Peppermint tea is pretty cool too!)
