Immigration records are not public records. There is no way for you to find out unless the person themself willingly shows you their documents. Chances are that unless you are trained to understand the admissions coding, you wouldn't know what you are looking at anyway.

Real simple, call the Immigration service or the Border Patrol, tell them you think you may have an illegal in your area. Ask them to come out to check. Note the time that you call and if they do not respond call (202)344-2050 and ask Chief Aguilar why his staff is not doing their job.

Get their Social security number then contact the Social Security Administration, or the Immigration/ naturalization office.
Either that or have someone come up to them wearing a shirt and hat that says INS and if they run then you know they are illegal

Their is no way you could know, even if they show you documents. The fake ones are almost identical to the real ones.

Ask them (casually) if they voted. Only US citizens can vote. They can be legally here if they have a "green card" but can't vote.
