God would rather see all children he created be given the full chance at life on earth that his others currently enjoy. God would rather see us trusting him to take care of all of his children rather than watching us making decisions that should be reserved for him alone to make.

God is not daunted by people's terminal illnesses. Nor is God's power limited by them.

According to the Mosaic Law, "causing the death of a baby in its mother's womb was wrong. Yes, even such a life is precious to Jehovah. I know that we are not under the Mosaic Law, but there are still scriptural principles telling us how Jehovah God views a life.

Psalm 127:3 says, "Look! Sons are an inheritance from Jehovah;
The fruitage of the belly is a reward." Yes, God views life as precious. Does this look like God supports abortion?

Another scripture that puts this issue to bed is Deuteronomy 5:17, which simply says, "You must not murder." A scripture daily overlooked, yet an easy principle to remember. We show respect for life by not taking the life of an unborn child.

Remember, every baby that comes out the womb has a terminal illness, which is called imperfection. Doctors cannot remove it, nor detect it. DNA cannot track this illness. So let's face it, no one is perfect. Why rob the life of a child if it comes out with AIDS? Is it really the newborn's fault that it came out with AIDS. If the mother did not defile her body, maybe the child would not have AIDS.

Autism occurs in 1/166 children. Would it be right to strip that child from the life that he or she deserves? So what if it is sick? Do you stop loving a child just because he or she has a mental illness? Could you consider yourself loving if you did such?

I think neither one. God, I think wants all people to be whole and well. If you stop and think that God is the giver of life,it stands to reason, that He would love to see the aborted child living a full life. He would want the terminally ill child well. That is why it is good when people try to help both, because that is what God would do.Why doesn't He? Who can say, except that we live in a fallen world and bad things happen to everyone, its how we treat each other that is where God is. Like the firefighters in New York, at the World Trade Center.I can still see them running up the road to help only to be killed a few minutes later. God works through people. So if we want to see God in action Help a woman who is facing abortion. Help a child who is terminally ill. Then we see God in action through us.

Q:Would God rather see an abortion or a child born with a terminal illness?

If the child is born with a terminal illness it is the will of God that the child is born that way, it is never the will of god that a parent decides to off her child.

Tell me, Do you know if it is Gods will that a child is born with terminal illness, just so God can have miracle done through that child, so that God is glorified ? You know not what God has instore for that child, For you to even assume such a thing, is wrong and is not Godly. A Doctor informs you that your child will born with a terminal illness. Trust God that the child is born the way God desires that child to be born, with God all things are possible.
Think about it, if a person conceives a child, it is only because God has allowed her to concieve. God creates life, satan does not create life. a fetus is a life, that God is creating. Woe to them who destroy what God is trying to create.

Well u tell me what u think is better....a child that is going to be either terminally ill, or not going to have a good quality life because of their situation, whether it's incest or abuse or neglect OR an abortion in which the child is not a person yet and has no consciousness as to whether it's alive and such. No autonomy...etc. Re: God....do u think that God would prefer to see a child in pain or a being that hasn't come into existence yet, does not know that it is alive so therefore, does not know if he/she is missing out on something.

I'd think a child born with terminal illness because at least hopefully they will get to know the love of their parents before they die while the aborted fetus was never loved by anyone on earth. The love of our parents and friends teaches us much about the love of God.

I don't think we should think if God cares or not- if he really cared he wouldn't give babies terminal illnesses- the question is what do we think, as we are the ones with the power to abort.
It depends if you think a foetus has a soul as soon as it is conceived, or whether it only becomes conscious after a certain amount of time; if it is a living being as soon as it is created then it's a difficult one but if it's just a bundle of cells with no discernable features or brain activity yet and we know they baby will be ill and miserable for its entire life, I think it's completely justified to abort the pregnancy.

And two more things- The Bible isn't GOD'S book it was written by MEN and books were added and taken away also by men, therefore not everything God supposedly wanted to tell us is in there...vice versa...etc....Bible=boredom

And Adam and Eve was just a story...it didn't REALLY happen...jeez

ask Him

He'll prolly tell you to stop mocking others and read His book yourself

EDIT: is your life so shallow that you can't conceive of a God who would rather have NEITHER is this world? God leaves it up to the parents to do what is right by their child. At the resurrection, every human will get a new body and there will be no more "terminal diseases". That's why i believe, not fear of hell. I want a second chance. And if I get to heaven and there is no heaven, i will have lived a life doing my best to love others.

what is wrong with that?
