Well I had the same thing, years ago. After that, a year or two later I asked why she said no, it came naturally in the conversation.
She answered " You danced funny-like" but funny in the bad way of funny: funny-awkward...
So maybe improve your dance skills would be one thing eventually to do, but for yourself. My sister in law tought me how to dance more ok-like
