Which energy drink best prevents dehydration and why? Gatorade, Powerade, Vitamin Water, or Propel.

I don't think any of these actually prevent dehydration, only water can do that, the other products only give you energy, and only short bursts at that. Energy drinks do not take the place of water, water and only water can prevent dehydration....um I don't know why.

Well, if you really want to prevent dehydration, just have water, however, I like Propel best. Gatorade is probably best with the nutrients and such though.

I don't know about energy drinks, they have salt and sugar that you really dont need in them. The way I prevent dehydration is by drinking plenty of water, especially before doing something where I know I will be sweating a lot.

Von dutch, rock star, N2O (nitrous), Monster, Krunk, Sobe, propel is the won that is good and keeps you from dehydration But Rock Star is my favorite!

Gatorade. First and foremost, it tastes better. All of them pretty much accomplish the same task, which is to hydrate you, so you should go with the one that tastes best.
