They turn out so much better in the oven. Bake them at 400 degrees for an hour. Yum.

If you want fluffy baked potatoes, then wash your potatoe, poke with a fork and put in a plastic bag, like from Wal-mart, then put in the mircrowave and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until done. Be careful when removing bag from microwave, it will be very hot and so will the potatoe. But it will be done all the way around and all the way through and be nice a fluffy!! Good Luck!!

Firstly put your potatoes into a plastic bag and throw in some flour and coat the potatoes. Pre-heat the oven at 220 degrees Celsius. Put a roasting dish in the oven with a little lard/fat, you want this to be hot. After coating your potatoes in the flour, take from the plastic bag and put into your roasting dish. Bake until potatoes are golden brown, approx. 45 minutes. Don't microwave them they simply don't taste the same. good luck.

I usually do mine in microwave ahead of time. 10 min per potato. Don't forget to poke them a few times. Then put them in the fridge til you want them. Take them out and cut a slit in top. Add butter in slit and wrap in foil. 400 degrees for 30 min or til hot through. Twice baked taters...YUM.
