Whatever. Is that way all Christians are potentially suicidal? Cause they want to meet their god? I got very far in life without believing in god.

In order:
False, I've gotten quite far on my own strengths.
Frankly, the only reason I can think of for a person to believe in god is a fear of death. But it doesn't matter if either one of us actually understands why the other believes what they do.

Thomas Edison and Thomas Jefferson were atheists. They got somewhere. So did Douglas Adams and Maynard James Keenan. Soooo...what are you talking about exactly?

I believe in the Hood-Christ. He's a homeless smack addict who speaks to God. Before the cops beat his *** down for disorderly conduct he stripped naked in a foodmart and claimed he was the New God. I buy him drugs sometimes.

I believe in God because I believe this whole great universe had to be made by a greater God.

I totally agree with you. As the others said, some people will get somewhere and have accomplishments here without God. But in the end they will get the short end of the stick by not believing. It doesn't matter what someone accomplishes here on Earth. It's their eternal destiny, Heaven or Hell, that matters.

You're wrong. I've been lots of places without god. Superstition isn't necessary for living a moral, useful, fulfilling life.
