Being Pagan, I believe that if ANY Christian religion has the truth (or most of it), it's the Mormons.

Perhaps I'm a little biased, since my family-in-law (to-be) is LDS, but I've managed to learn a lot from them. Most of what is believed about them is just complete bull.

I really won't bother arguing my point unless someone's really interested. In which case, I'm open to be contacted.

No; I don't believe I'd ever convert to Mormonism, but by what they believe, I don't have to in order to reach Heaven anyway. :)

I doubt that I would ever become Mormon. However, I've had good dealings with my LDS friends and neighbors. I used to live in a neighborhood in which I was definitely in the minority as a non-Mormon, and people were friendly and kind. I should also mention that many of them are excellent cooks. :)

I would never ever convert to Mormonism. Quite a few of my relatives are Mormon and each of them have disowned because I don't share their twisted beliefs. They're all about family but heaven forbid anyone be even slightly dysfunctional. The minute you have any family problems, they tell you that you're being the troublemaker even if it was someone else's doing and you're simply the victim.

I also worked for a Mormon guy for awhile whose girlfriend had him take my job away because she couldn't convert me.

Are you trying to start a religous war here?
\Actually it's not as bad as a lot of things I've seen your question not Mormonism.

The reason I would not convert is becuase it was started by a man claiming to see golden tablets through magic glasses that no one else could see except one person.
When he read off the rules he looked into a hat so no one else could see.
Also, the fact that Mormons don't teach you everything until you get to a certain level, a lot of Mormons don't know what they really believe until they are older.
I talked to a lot of young Mormons about the whole planet and perpetual preganancy afterlife thing and they had no idea what I was talking about, yet in older establisher mormons it is a doctrine.

Mormons are just another religion trying to find peace just like everyone else! If you want to know about mormons then go to a mormon church. As for me, I don't really know

I am not entirely sure about Mormons... all I know is that they permit and sometimes even promote polygamy, and that is wrong. It was a sect started a few hundred years ago, and they don't have all the right (nor all the wrong) ideas. No, I would never convert to Mormonism. I am quite happy as my little Baptist self!

I would NEVER be mormon. I think they are very misinformed and the average mormon has no clue what kind of stuff they believe in! Most of them, for example, don't know that the book of Mormon was allegedly found by a guy who also had to find very large glasses to read them! And that it says Jesus was in America!!

I would never ever ever convert and I think of them as a cult.

I dont know much about Mormons, but I do not think that I could believe that a man spoke to god in Utah! I know that I could never convert.

I get kind of annoyed when they start coming to the house and giving me video tapes and trying to defend things that seem ridiculous; Like, I think the part about having 7 wives is an effort by its creator to try and justify cheating or maybe just get more women. I would never convert because the beliefs are silly to me, but I don't mind the passive ones that use their religion as an excuse to be kind to people. Can't fault them for being kind...
