I find that I have an easier time getting things done, organizing, cleaning... when I am totally alone. Do other people with ADD feel this way?

your a yes and no-c somewhere you can go back in your past and everything was taught to u and it is in this light that you like something and not others, not to a great degree but enough so that you prefer to do it alone and for these reasons the solitude will go back and fourth. we take turns with what is our purpose as time changes and feeling occur to have no reason at all but if we look deep enough or selectively we can see how and who did this to us. add we be best studied at the 13 year old and younger ages to see who taught us what and all the things that add was apart of to get how you are the way you are now. pressure to conform & stress is how i got pigeon holed with it

When someone with ADD can get to doing a job they do it better then others. When you have ADD you are very extreme and if you can focus that on a task then you are unstoppable.

Not me. I start wondering off and getting distracted unless somebody keeps reminding me to stay on task

My son has ADHD, and his teacher would sometimes have him sit in the hallway during class or stay after school. He was able to do his work if no one else was around to distract him. I think its easier to hold your attention if you don't have other things going on around you.
