how can i stop being emo? i hate it soooo much but i just can't help to be emotional suicidal i've had a horrible past and it's bearly recovering now that i'm a little bit older and i hate this. people judge me by how i look and i usually don'r care but i'm too emo i've tried to think of good things in my life but it just makes it worse i always have an urge to cut but i stop myslef most of the time. i started being causious about sharp objects and i seriously need advice of how to stop. i've already had suicide thought and i make random suicide notes.i've attepmted it but thank god one of my friends stopped me!

One God

Any formulation of an article of faith which does not insist that God is solitary, that divides worship between God and any other, or that imagines God coming into existence rather than being God eternally, is not capable of directing people toward the knowledge of God, according to the trinitarian understanding of the Old Testament. The same insistence is found in the New Testament: "...there is none other God but one" (1 Corinthians 8:4). The "other gods" warned against are therefore not gods at all, but substitutes for God, and so are, according to St. Paul, simply mythological or are demons.
So, in the trinitarian view, the common conception which thinks of the Father and Christ as two separate beings, is incorrect. The central, and crucial affirmation of Christian faith is that there is one savior, God, and one salvation, manifest in Jesus Christ, to which there is access only because of the Holy Spirit. The God of the Old is still the same as the God of the New. In Christianity, it is understood that statements about a solitary god are intended to distinguish the Hebraic understanding from the polytheistic view, which see divine power as shared by several separate beings, beings which can, and do, disagree and have conflicts with each other. The concept of Many comprising One is quite visible in the Gospel of John, chapter 17, verses 20 through 23.

"Through the Son we have access to the Father in one Spirit" (Ephesians 2:18). Communion with the Father is the goal of the Christian faith and is eternal life. It is given to humans through the Divine union with humanity in Jesus Christ who, although fully God, died for sinners "in the flesh" to accomplish their redemption, and this forgiveness, restoration, and friendship with God is made accessible through the gift to the Church of the Holy Spirit, who, being God, knows the Divine Essence intimately and leads and empowers the Christian to fulfill the will of God. Thus, this doctrine touches on every aspect of the trinitarian Christian's faith and life; and this explains why it has been so earnestly contended for, throughout Christian history.

It's really hard to think positively when you're in such a negative state of mind, so just telling you to think that way isn't going to help. You need to take things in small steps - try making a list of things you can do to help yourself, and then prioritize them in the order of what you can manage first. Positive things could be -go for a walk, help someone else so you're not so focused on yourself, do something around the house you've been putting off so you can have a sense of accomplishment, etc. Also, keep writing the way you did here about your feelings - in detail until you feel you've said it all on paper to get it out of your mind and down in black and white. But more importantly, get some help - force yourself to talk to your doctor and get a referral to a counselor who specializes in self esteem issues and/or helps people who have the urge to cut themselves. Don't be afraid to ask for help from others besides the people here. The rest of your life you could be free of these feelings if you make the moves now to deal with them. I hope you get better, and please take care of yourself, I'm sure there are people who love you and want you to be well.

Do you by any chance worship Satan? Try submitting yourself to God. I don't know what it is about emos, but they are often obsessed with death and dark colors. Quit your bad habits and consciously make an attempt to change them. I've had suicide thoughts before too, but it's never the answer unless you are in a fatal condition and the pain is just unbearable. I have been extremely agitated once in my life, during my teenage years, but you know that it's not the true you. Let go and re-live a different lifestyle. Put your past behind you if it's causing you so much discomfort. Why fight to preserve that which is harming you inside?

Just think about how the way the people around you would feel if you attempted suicide. There is to me, no reason anyone should want to take their own life. You have to realize that there may be bad things that have happened in the past or may even be going on now but you just have to think about the future and what good may happen if you forgot about what is stressing you and focus on what good may happen if you thought more positively.

If you seriously feel like your scaring yourself and need someone to talk to, and cant find anyone to talk to call 1800 suicide. They have crisis counselors that can talk to you and help calm you down.

get some help..counseling from a professional. right away! pray ask the lord for deliverence. for you all things might be impossible, but for jesus christ our savior all things are possible. ask and you shall recieve.
