As you feel the fever blister coming on, put an ice cube inside a washcloth and hold it on the spot where the fever blister is coming. I have found this drives it back into a dormit stage.

I would put an ice cube on there; for me, I usually bit the blister `til some sort of liquid came out of it. Then the liquid would come out of it and i'd just put a bandage on it so nothin can get in it.

know how ya feel. i get them too. my mom just buys me some brand name cold sore medicine...over the counter of course. you may have to work with diffrent ones because some worked with me and some didn't.
