There are some homemade Puerto Rican hot sauces(PIQUE) that have a watery consistency (kind of like Tabasco). What I am looking for is a home made hot sauce with a thicker consistency. I had one in Puerto Rico called Antonios Pique Champan and another from the El Jibarito restaurant in Old San Juan. Awesome!!!!! I've tried to purchase but am having trouble reaching the owner. I wouldn't mind making my own batch if I could get a good recipe. I use the stuff on everything and go through it like water. Please help! If you live in Puerto Rico possibly an older person from the country can be asked....generally speaking....they make the best everything!

You need some(ajies)spicy peppers, the skin of one pineapple and vinegar. Mix everything in a glass bottle with lid and leave " cook" for 2 months before using, then you just need to keep adding vinegar.
