It ain't about the cereal, per se. The Lucky Charms Leprechaun, like all of his breed, doesn't want to be caught, especially not by some kids. What irks me more is why can't the kids give that poor hungry rabbit some Trix???

Legend has it that if you catch a leprechaun (which is what that Lucky Charms guy is) that they must give you their pot of gold, or treasure. Legend also has it that their power is in their treasure. The Lucky Charms are his treasure and he doesn't want to give it to anyone who catches him for this reason. At least that's was the premise of the commercials when they first came out years ago.

What I don't understand is why Fred Flintstone doesn't want to share his cereal with his best friend Barney. What a jerk.

And why does the rabbit want the TRIX cereal?
Got the munchies from the new "lettuce" they're putting in the feed dish?
