God created earth in 6 days...

2006-11-13 11:03:09 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

God is above the dimension of time. A day can be like one thousand years, and one millions years can be like a blink of an eye.

God created heaven and earth in 6 days (6 phases). And God only needed to wish "Be!", and it happens.

God need not rest as He is the Creator and the Sustainer.

God created the Heavens and the Earth in six days.
The Holy Qur'an states:(7:54 )
"VERILY, your Sustainer is God, who has created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is established on the throne of His almightiness. He covers the day with the night in swift pursuit, with the sun and the moon and the stars subservient to His command: oh, verily, His is all creation and all command. Hallowed is God, the Sustainer of all the worlds!"

As for the thousand years: that has to do with the Day of Judgement.
22:47 "Yet they ask thee to hasten on the Punishment! But Allah will not fail in His Promise. Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning"

[22:47] They challenge you to bring retribution, and GOD never fails to fulfill His prophecy. A day of your Lord is like a thousand of your years.

See how the uses "like" to establish this as allegorical.
the six days expressed in scriputre is not the same as the six days we experience on Earth. This can be explained confirmed by Einstein's Theory(Law)of Relativity with backing by the Quran.

This now Law (it has been proven in college labs and otherwise) states that if humans from Earth were to travel at the speed of light away from Earth two things would occur.
1.) If the travelling transporter has mass and is made of matter, it would become extremely massive and the mission would have to be cancelled because if they continued, the travling tranportor would become as massive as the entire universe, and to heavy, they would eventually die of get lost in space.
2.) (The part I am pointing out as relevent to your question)
Time on the transporter would slow down (not speed up).
After about a hour travelling at the speed of light, a thousand of so years would have occured on Earth. If they were to return before the transporter became to massiveat the rate of travel, about a million or so years would have passed by on Earth, but weridly, the travellers would still be alive and the same age!

Moreover, it say the viceversa could occur. If the travellers, realizing that they couldn't time travel, were to find a worm hole and successfully travel through it. If it felt like they visted the other planet or galaxy for several years, they would return back to Earth only for people on the outside to feel as if they had been gone for a few seconds. This is not scientist fiction, this is physics.

In another part of the Quran, I can't find it, it says it takes the Angels 50,000 years to accend to God in praise. Now this is not even Earth time. THis is travelling at Light Speed! So for a scientific view, when God says in the revelations that he created the Earth in Six Days, you are blown away, because you relaized that is is high above the universe, and you reliaze that we are mere human beings who are subject to our slow Earth time. The sums up my explanation to you.

[70:0] In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

[70:1] A questioner may question the inevitable retribution.

[70:2] For the disbelievers, none can stop it.

[70:3] From GOD; Possessor of the highest Height.****

[70:4] The angels, with their reports, climb to Him in a day that equals fifty thousand years.

[70:5] Therefore, you shall resort to a gracious patience.

[70:6] For they see it far away. **** (Humans on Earth)

[70:7] While we see it very close. *** (Far Above the Universe)

Or the good ones in faith, an identical could take place or according to risk God could try you via doing different issues. He needs us to believe in Him that He has the potential to do something and that he's the extra suitable one. Believing and faith is the main-word.

Six days.

Besides, He did not ''rest'' in the middle like some other faith says in its book (i wont mention which) as God is all supreme and doesn't need to rest.

Depends on what part of the self-contradictory quran (koran, qur'an, etc) you happen to be reading.

Apparently Muhammed suspended knowledge of science, astronomy, history, anatomy, religion (Judaism, Christianity), etc when he invented islam and allah.
