When ever there are conflicts or just one with another country we all suffer and having the U.S. attack another country with or with out the same power would be a disaster to all.

During the cold war there was a military doctrine known as M.A.D, it stood for mutually assured destruction.
If we attacked a country with the same power, it would boil down to which country trains better.

Your question is rhetorical at this time since there is no other country with equal military might. However, if there were such a power, the whole world would suffer greatly.

well there are not many countries around with the same 'power' as you put it - but if they went to war with a Nuclear armed country - it would probably precipitate a nuclear exchange and one can only imagine how that would turn out!

there are no other countries that are equal, and china is the only country bigger. if we were to go to war with them... end of the world maybe. we have better technology, but they outnumber us 4 to 1. i hope it doesnt come to that in my life.(russia may be equal, but they are too poor, i think,to fight a prolonged battle)
