Jenna email me. We're both in the same situation. To date him first you have to find another doctor cause he would be breaking the code if he dates a patient. That's why mine asked me to look for another doctor so could date. That the first thing. It would be weird if it doesn't work out to keep going to his office. What kind of doctor is he???

He would be subjected to losing his medical license should he either date or become sexually involved with a patient. If you really like him, and want him to be successful, hands off!

If you and he are both determined to do this, check with your state's rules about how long it has to be from the time he releases you as a patient (I think it has to be formally, with certified letter, etc) before you can date without him risking his livelihood.

Let's say it's not very professional. Additionaly, if it doesn't work out, would be very awkward continuing going to his office, don't you think?

It isn't wrong do date your doctor. But, if it will affect your relationship then I don't think you should have him as a doctor.
